Mitch Kolkman, born on 19 September 2002 in Haarlem, Netherlands, made his elite breakthrough in 2021 when he became the Dutch junior national champion and won the Junior Europe Triathlon Cup in Bled.
In 2023, he stepped onto the world U23 stage by winning a bronze medal at the World Triathlon U23 Championships in Abu Dhabi.
Building on that momentum, Kolkman claimed the Dutch national sprint title and secured his first Europe Triathlon Cup victory in Holten in 2024. That same year, he represented the Netherlands at the Paris Olympic Games, competing in both the men’s individual event and the mixed relay.
