Gina Sereno, originally from Madison, Wisconsin, transitioned from elite collegiate running at the University of Michigan to professional triathlon in 2019. A full-time systems engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Sereno balances science and sport with remarkable success. She claimed her first continental title at the 2021 Americas Championships, won double silver at the 2023 Pan American Games, and has earned podiums at both World Triathlon Cups and Arena Games events.
