Miriam Casillas García is one of Spain’s most accomplished and enduring triathletes, distinguished by her three consecutive Olympic appearances (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024). A qualified medical doctor, she has successfully balanced a demanding professional career with elite-level sport, becoming a role model for "Action" and perseverance.

Between 2024 and 2025, Casillas enjoyed a resurgence in form, highlighted by a historic victory at the World Triathlon Cup San Pedro de la Paz in late 2025—Spain's first female World Cup gold in a decade. She capped off the 2024 season with a brilliant 5th-place finish at the WTCS Grand Final in Torremolinos on home soil. With over 100 career starts and multiple World Cup and WTCS podiums, Miriam remains the veteran leader of the Spanish squad and a fierce competitor whose tactical intelligence continues to inspire the next generation of athletes entering the 2026 season.
