Miriam Casillas García is one of Spain’s most accomplished and enduring triathletes, distinguished by her three consecutive Olympic appearances (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, and Paris 2024). A qualified medical doctor, she has successfully balanced a demanding professional career with elite-level sport, becoming a role model for "Action" and perseverance.
Between 2024 and 2025, Casillas enjoyed a resurgence in form, highlighted by a historic victory at the World Triathlon Cup San Pedro de la Paz in late 2025—Spain's first female World Cup gold in a decade. She capped off the 2024 season with a brilliant 5th-place finish at the WTCS Grand Final in Torremolinos on home soil.
