Podium Racing 2025 Team Revealed

Podium Racing Unveil Unique Team Structure and New Roles for Jeanne Lehair and Kenji Nener for Supertri League 2025

LONDON, UK, July 9 – Podium Racing has unveiled a pioneering team structure for Supertri League 2025 which includes newly created Team Captain roles and John Anthony taking on an owner-manager position.

In a major off-season move, Tim Don left Podium Racing to take the helm at Brownlee Racing for Supertri League 2025. This left Anthony, the man behind the franchise, to reassess the best way to run the team and to try and marry triathlon savvy with management experience in the corporate world to deliver success.

One key change is the creation of Team Captain roles for loyal stalwarts Kenji Nener and Jeanne Lehair, which will give them the opportunity to input into the team’s development, as well take on leadership roles.

Podium Racing owner and manager, John Anthony, said: “While I give Tim credit for helping launch Podium Racing and getting us to an overall 2nd place in the league in 2024, it’s no secret that I am very disappointed by the manner of his departure. However, this has also opened an opportunity to do things in a different way.

“First, I have developed a team of amazing athletes who truly believe in the overall mission of Podium Racing. Second, I have evolved our team structure to give Jeanne Lehair and Kenji Nener leadership roles as Team Captains. Finally, I am using my experiences as a product leader at organizations like WHOOP,  Google and Oura to take a ‘full stack’ leadership perspective to reshape how we think about triathlon teams - which, in part, means taking on the role of team manager for the 2025 season.

“While I don’t desire to be the team manager for Podium Racing in the long term, I feel it is the right move for 2025 as we bed in this new culture and deliver our objectives of both building a successful franchise and creating a pipeline for athletes to develop their talents with us. I am very excited both for this year and beyond.”

Anthony appears to be off to a great start with Podium creating an impressive line-up for 2025, with most of the women returning for a second season. The women's roster will be led by Lehair, who narrowly missed becoming League champion last year by two points. The ever dependable French star Léonie Périault also returns with, gun female swimmer Brazil’s Vittória Lopes from Brazil.  New to the roster this year is Slovakia’s Zuzana Michalickova - the 22-year-old who impressed at Supertri E - as well as Poland’s Roksana Slupek.

Their men’s team sees the return of Japan’s Kenji Nener and France’s former World champion Dorian Coninx. Adding to this fire power, New Zealand’s swim ace Tayler Reid, the USA’s rising star John Reed and Spain’s Alberto González Garcia join Podium Racing’s impressive roster.

Podium Racing is a triathlon team with a truly global outlook. Built on the principle of bringing together the best brands, athletes and rising stars, Podium Racing offers real world support to make dreams a reality for aspiring stars of the sport.

By combining experience with potential, Podium Racing creates a unique environment where next-generation athletes learn, grow, and develop — while collectively chasing new levels of success in triathlon. Podium Racing’s mission is evident in 2025 with the combination of promoting Nener and Lehair to captain roles while also bringing on emerging next-generation talent.

Anthony said: “With the support of Enve Composites, we are able to support John Reed and Zuzana Michalickova as our ‘Enve Next-Gen Athletes” - giving them the opportunity to race with the best in the world while reducing financial barriers in what is otherwise a very expensive sport.”

Each team in Supertri League 2025 can name four male and four athletes at each event. All points accrued by the athletes count towards the Teams League over the course of the season.

The athletes get their first taste of Supertri action this year in Toronto on July 26, before tackling the other venues so far announced for 2025, which include Chicago (August 23), Jersey (September 21) and Toulouse (October 5).

Podium Racing are the final Supertri League team to be announced for 2025 after Stars & Stripes Racing, Brownlee Racing and Crown Racing.
